Refund policy

At Dunes and Scents, we want you to feel confident about your first purchase. Please read our return and refund terms carefully before placing an order.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns are applicable only on 100ml perfume bottles, and must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

  • If you choose a replacement, it must be a 100ml bottle of another fragrance.

Limitations on Returns

  • Consecutive orders are not eligible for refunds.

  • Exchanges are permitted only for the first two consecutive orders, subject to product value parity. Orders beyond this will not qualify for exchange.

  • Orders placed outside India are not eligible for return, replacement, or refund.

Usage & Packaging Conditions

  • Returned products must be unused beyond the allowed limit of 10 sprays or 2ml (whichever is less).

  • The original product packaging and outer shipping carton must be intact.

  • If the product or packaging is damaged, discarded, or incomplete, the return or replacement request will be rejected, and the product will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

Shipping & Handling

  • For eligible returns or exchanges of perfumes, reverse shipping costs are borne by Dunes and Scents.

  • If a returned product does not meet policy requirements, return shipping costs will be charged to the customer.

Damaged or Tampered Products

  • If you receive a damaged or tampered product, notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

  • An unboxing video along with images is mandatory for such requests. Claims without proper evidence will not be processed.

Refund Processing

  • Once the returned product reaches our warehouse and clears quality inspection, refunds are initiated within 24 hours.

  • The credited amount may take up to 7 business days to reflect in your original payment method.

Order Source & Cancellations

  • This policy applies only to orders placed directly on the Dunes and Scents website. Purchases from third-party platforms are not eligible.

  • Prepaid orders cannot be cancelled or modified once dispatched.

  • In case of prepaid order cancellation before dispatch, payment gateway charges and shipping fees will be deducted from the refund.

Policy Integrity

  • Any misuse of the return or replacement policy will result in permanent ineligibility for future claims.

  • Dunes and Scents reserves the right to approve or reject any request at its discretion.

Return Process

  1. Submit a return request through our Return Request Form.

  2. Our team will review the details provided.

  3. If eligible, a reverse pickup will be arranged.

  4. Return shipping may take longer than standard delivery timelines.

  5. Once received and approved, refunds or replacements will be processed.

  6. Replacements, once dispatched, cannot be altered.

  7. Replacements for any order are allowed up to three times only.
